Annual Fund

A letter from our Annual Fund Chair

Overview

August 2022

Dear Crocker/Riverside Families,

The Crocker/Riverside Annual Fund continues to be the primary way to support our school. This gives Crocker/Riverside the flexibility to use unrestricted funds to address our most pressing needs. The 2022-2023 Annual Fund goal is to raise $25,000 from Crocker/Riverside families.

Growing our Annual Fund each year allows us to thrive and achieve greater financial stability. The Annual Fund directly supports academic, enrichment, and extracurricular programs, equipment and software upgrades, facility improvements, and strategic planning.

This year, we are introducing Better Together 2022-2023: Annual Fund Campaign for a Remarkable School Year. Through our cooperative efforts the Crocker Riverside Community has been able to provide a world class education both in and out of the classroom.

What is the Crocker/Riverside Annual Fund?
The Crocker/Riverside Annual Fund is our yearly appeal for contributions that support the rich and diverse learning environment that Crocker/Riversides provides.

What does the annual fund support?
Gifts to the Crocker/Riverside Annual Fund impact every student, every day by allowing the school to:

  • Purchase new classroom technology.
  • Create a highly sought-after language program.
  • Continue the grounds beautification project.
  • Supports our library, retains our librarian, and purchase new books.
  • Purchase sports equipment
  • Support, develop, and retain Enrichment Programs including Art, Science, Garden, and Music AND MORE!

What impact will my small gift have?
Every gift, regardless of size, is important and appreciated and brings us closer to reaching our fundraising goal. Gifts of any size inspire more people to give; they are a vote of confidence in our school and our community.

What is a matching gift?
Many companies will match charitable contributions by their employees. The company helps to support worthy causes and the employee can maximize the amount donated to the charity. Many Crocker/Riverside parents work for matching gift companies—please check with your human resources department or your employer to see if they will match your gift. If your gift is matched by your employer, the matched amount will be counted towards your total giving and acknowledged as such in the Annual Report.

Crocker/Riverside PTO is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation. For tax purposes, our tax identification number is 82-1722765. Your gifts may be deductible for income tax purposes. Please consult a qualified tax professional for more information.
