Below is a video from the March 2011 Science Day

Who: K-3
Where: School Auditorium
Date: Friday, January 22, 2016

The Lawrence Hall of Science “Hands-On Science Day” is an in-school program providing students with hands-on experiences to complement the curriculum, stimulate curiosity and investigation, and build enthusiasm for science and math. LHS instructors are fun and engaging, and parent volunteers enjoy helping students through each hands-on station.

Friday, January 22, 2016:  Build It! (Grades K-3): One of LHS’ most popular festivals!  Build It! brings out the engineer and architect in everyone, with math at the core. Participants exercise their design, problem-solving, and spatial skills by constructing, in both two and three dimensions. Activities include: tessellations, cube-o-minimums, polyhedra, tangrams, and arch/truss bridge building.
